We made a day of it; taking a narrated train ride to feed the bison, walked around to see all the animals (and their babies), enjoyed the pony rides, gift.

Stopped by the terry bison ranch checked out the animals they were pretty friendly. We bought tickets for the train ride which is a must-do if you plan to visit. The train actually travels through wyoming and goes into Colorado. The highlight is when the train comes to a stop and for 15-20 minutes you are feeding the bisons.
