Let the crackers sit in the bag, flipping once every 20 to 30 minutes, until the liquid is entirely absorbed by the crackers, about 2 hours.

Empty the crackers into a gallon-size resealable bag. Mix canola oil and remaining ingredients to thoroughly combine. Pour the combined oil mixture over the crackers, seal the bag, mix gently and let sit out on the counter overnight.
