Petani is also on the Paliki Peninsula, on Kefalonia's west coast.Of all the beaches on the island, it's the most similar to Myrtos (along with Platia Ammos and Gialiskari which are both difficult to access at the moment).. Reachable by car, Petani has a couple of tavernas and a few organised sections (in high summer at least).

Petani Beach is a sandy bay with pebbles around the shore line. It's located on the west cost of Kefalonia, just north of Lixouri. The main part of the beach is over 500m long, there's a couple of tavernas around the path that leads down to the beach and in front of the tavernas is where you'll find the sun loungers that are available to hire.
