The Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, also known as the "Colosseo Quadrato" (square Colosseum), is an icon of Fascist architecture. Its design was inspired to celebrate the Imperial Roman heritage, and the structure was intended by Mussolini as a celebration of the Roman Colosseum.
