How to look up the map from the seed alone? Question Playing the game and I want to know the map. I didn't check beforehand but the map loader doesn't seem to have my seed. Or at the very least, isn't accepting just the seed. What should I do? My seed is 1289217610 on asteroid SNDST-A if that helps Archived post.

PSA - Map generation. Do not rely on the predicted world traits (boulders, geodes, subsurface ocean, etc.). They seem to be completely unreliable. As far as I have seen, the map generation works fine and all of these features can exist (and not, there are maps without boulders), but the predictions are completely useless.

PSA: because of the bug linked below, to actually use the generated seeds please click 'game settings' on the asteroid choice screen. Then it will open a window in which you can manually choose the asteroid type and paste the seed number (the number part of the coordinate)

Map generation should be more general instead of set things that will always show up. Make categories and throw stuff in them and let the game pick at map generation time what it will be.
