Ma question est simple, je possède un meuble Ikea Kallax (le nom de la nouvelle version, le mien avait un nom différent mais c'est vraiment similaire) Il est composé de 8 cases et est posé horizontalement. Pour l'instant il y a un aquarium de 60 litres dessus et j'aimerais y mettre à la place un aquarium de 100 ou 120 litres (cuve nue).

30 gallons is a lot to have on your floor. Being paranoid is good. If a couple people can stand on this thing and it doesn't seem like it's straining under the weight, I might consider it, but I'd rather use an overbuilt homemade stand or something specifically made for aquariums (using an actual aquarium stand is required by every aquarium warranty I've seen as well).

2211Nighthawk. May 16, 2017. #9. My 20 gallon in the IKEA stand and my 60 gallonon a crazy heavy duty tv stand. I used the base of a China cabinet for my 45. I just ripped the top apart and used that to finish the top of the bottom piece. Thing probably weighed 200lbs with out the tank and I paid 50$ Canadian for it.

The two smaller stands are from Walmart and sized for the tank. The one on the left is a slotted 3 shelf rack rated for around 600 lbs. You just have to figure out the weight you'll be putting on it and get a stand that's at least a little bit above your needs. They have Hercules racks at Lowe's that hold 1000+ lbs etc.

How I assembled my IKEA BESTÅ aquarium stand: I built the BESTÅ frame per instructions. Then, drilled 2×2 inch holes at top left and right back cover for aquarium pipes and wires to pass through.
