Greek Cocktail Recipes. The Greeks have a long and rich history of making cocktails, dating back to the 1800s. Today, their cocktail recipes are still some of the most popular in the world. Here are a few of our favorite Greek cocktails to help you celebrate in style! Ouzo Fizz. Ingredients: 1 oz. ouzo. 1 oz. dry vermouth. 1 oz. orange juice.

Tsipouro. Tsipouro was first made by Greek Orthodox monks in Mount Athos in the 14th century. Today, it is one of the most popular Greek drinks and liqueurs produced in various regions across the country. Similar to Ouzo, the strong liqueur is made from the grape pomace that is left over from the wine-making process.

Gather the ingredients. Pour ouzo into a glass. Add lemon juice and mint leaves, and muddle to release the flavors from the mint leaves. Add honey and mix until it dissolves. Pour water into the glass and mix. If needed, add more water to dilute the ouzo taste.

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint with the brown sugar and lime juice. Add the Metaxa, lemon juice and ice. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Top with a splash of the club soda. Repeat for the next mojito!

Much magic! 9. Mastiha Cocktail Winter Solstice. The Winter Solstice cocktail is probably one of the most iconic Greek cocktails around. To make one, combine 1.5 oz rye whiskey, 1 oz fresh lemon juice, 0.75 oz mastiha, 0.5 oz mezcal, and 0.5 oz simple syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes.

1. Place lime quarters and grapes in the bottom of mixing glass, add the syrup and muddle the oil in the skin from the lime quarters. 2. Add whiskey, fresh lemon juice, pistachio syrup, Greek yogurt, and a few dashes of Angostura bitters to the shaker.
