The Horse and Groom Windsor is a traditional pub dating back to 1719, the lattice Windows, hanging lanterns, and arched beams give the watering hole a very tudor-esque feel (not surprising as the building dates back to the 16th Century). The food here includes some lovely home made dishes. We tried the hobgoblin beer battered cod served with some wonderful chunky chips and exceptional mushy peas.
