The walk is flat, easy & takes about 20 - 25 minutes one way. The fig trees do offer sporadic protection from the sun along the way. There is another kiosk with basic refreshments & food in the side of the pavilion or eat at the restaurant. You will see Balmoral Beach Rotunda.

The Rotunda is located in Balmoral Beach Reserve at Balmoral Beach, Sydney. It was built in 1930 as part of the beach improvement program undertaken by Mosman Council. Overlooking the bay and close to Rocky Point Island, it is set in a very picturesque area. After its completion it was a very popular venue for brass band concerts for many years throughout the 1930s and 1940s.

Fabulous sandy beach. The most fantastic sandy beach stretching for miles. Great for dogs, kids etc. Dogs are barred from one relatively small section of the beach from Easter until the end of September but in all honesty that still leaves about 90% of the beach available to them. Free roadside parking as well.
