Boozy Basil Blueberry Lemonade What Should I Make For...

This Blueberry Basil Blender Lemonade combines plump, sweet blueberries with fresh, sweet basil and bright lemons for a perfectly refreshing, easy-to-make lemonade that's ready in ten minutes! You can't tell me blueberries aren't the ultimate summer sweet snack. Perfectly pop-able, sweet and sometimes tart, rich blue color, and oh-so.

Add the water. Store in a pitcher in the fridge until ready to use. When ready to make a mocktail or cocktail, take the basil and blueberries and place in a tall glass. Instructions. Place blueberries and a few splashes of lemonade into a blender and blend until blueberries are puree. Add berry mixture to the rest of the lemonade. Wash a handful of basil. With your hands slightly tear and rough up the basil. Add basil to lemonade and refrigerate mix for at least 2-3 hours or overnight.

Combine the lemon juice, one cup of water, honey, and the remaining blueberries in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a low boil, stirring to dissolve the honey. Once the blueberries have released their juice and color, pour the mix.

Make the blueberry syrup. Bring water, sugar and blueberries to a boil, then cook until the sugar has dissolved and the blueberries burst. Remove from heat and let cool. Strain the blueberry syrup. In a blender, combine the blueberries with a bit of the basil and about ¼ cup of water, and blend until smooth. Pour the blueberry mixture into the lemon juice, and add in the Splenda. Fill up the rest of the pitcher with water, and garnish with extra.
