Skill Trees - Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Guide - IGN (2023)

In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Cal Kestis must use his force abilities to fight strong enemies and even stronger creatures. But he can't do it without enhancing his abilities and lightsaber skills. This guide will describe each skill tree Cal has available, including what each skill does, how many Skill Points you need to unlock, and any prerequisite skills you need.

How the Skill Trees Work

advertisement

When Cal Kestis defeats enemies or completes a quest, he is awarded Experience. For each level up, he is granted one Skill Point. To access Cal's skill trees, you have to find a meditation point.

Cal's skill trees fall under three major categories:

  • Survival
  • Lightsaber
  • Force

Cal's skills will not be available all at once, and each tree will be revealed over time. Some skills cannot be accessed unless the prerequisite skill has been unlocked. For example, under Force - Jedi Concentration, skill progression will look like Greater Hold > Extended Hold > Superior Hold. Skills that are "locked" will eventually be unlocked after a certain point in the game. This is usually after a main quest has been completed. Some skills will use up the Force meter, and these will be denoted with Uses Force.

Certain Skill Trees will also be unlocked after story progress has been made. To start, Cal will not have access to all of the Force skill trees until you have completed some of the quests on Coruscant. Then you will see that Jedi Concentration and Telekinesis will become available.

Don't worry if you place a Skill Point in the wrong skill. You can reset your points for a cost of 1 Skill Point.
